I have been trying to blog this family session from two weeks ago, but time just keeps getting away from me. So tonight, while their gallery is uploading, I’m blogging.

Tony and Megan have been LONG time loyal customers, and it really is an honor to see them every year. I am so happy to have been a part of some very important memories for them. Their family continues to grow and change. The girls (and Roxy the lab) are growing up and it’s so much fun to literally play with them during our session. Last fall little Eleanor (and Roxy) didn’t want anything to do with pictures, but this time, she was much more into it (Eleanor not Roxy, I think the dog was just hot). And Josephine, well, I can only remember one time when she didn’t want to have her picture taken. She comes ready to be my model every time. She is such a great big sister, and so full of smiles.

Thanks again for a wonderful morning and the cheesecake you made Megan was delicious. You have my cake business!

My blog has been a bit neglected, and it’s not because of lack of sessions. I think having my Facebook business page, just makes it too easy to forget about blogging. However, my goal is to try to blog a bit more the end of this summer and fall.

I can’t think of a better way to start blogging again, than by sharing pictures from tonight’s Senior Session with Emily. She is such a wonderful well rounded girl. I really could have continued her for hours. And, if you’ve ever had a session with me, you know that “one more”, never means one more. I was so happy that Emily didn’t mind.

Good luck with YOUR senior year Emily and with your upcoming Volleyball Season (Go HUSKIES). You will do great things! #classof2015 #seniorgirlsrock

They really know how to steal a persons heart, and put a perma smile on your face. Over the last year I have had the opportunity to be a part of important milestones in their lives. And watching them change and grow in front of my lens has been wonderful. Thanks for the wonderful year! Enjoy this sneak peek!

For her one year session we went to one of my favorite spots. Corey and Karla brought their high chair and we did the smash cake right in the field, it was great. Although, I think Estelle was a little confused at first, she only took a minute to dig into her cake. Thanks for the wonderful time. I look forward to sharing them all with you guys.

His Mom told me that it was his crabby time, well if I was there for his crabby time, I would love to see his happy time. He was such a good baby. Thanks for a wonderful session Angie, Josh and Nolan. Enjoy the peek!

No I haven’t abandoned my blog, it has just been a super busy past few months. Between a 10 day family road trip out to Yellowstone, Baseball Games, Track Meets, and T-Ball we were running seven days a week and usually multiple events a day. But we made some wonderful memories, saw some amazing things, and made a bunch of new friends. I truly enjoyed every part of it. So now that my life is returning to a normal pace it’s good to be blogging my sessions again. And what a better way than with Brennin, a sweet 9 month old who’s smile will melt your heart. My favorite field hasn’t been producing as many flowers as it use to, but that didn’t matter, the night was still perfect.

Mom brought with this cute little cap, how cute is this!!

And so serious here.

What a sweet little kissy face.

Today I spent the day looking back at all of my session from 2011. I can’t believe the year went by so fast, it seems like only a few weeks ago sweet Addison was here for her one year session, but se was acutally my first session of 2011!! KDB Photography really did have a fantastic year, I saw a lot of familiar faces and a lot of new ones as well. Every sessions was just as unique as the family, we had many laughs, a few tears, and a lot of smiles. I have to say that my most memorable moment from a 2011 was from a session w/ two little boys. I had them jump off a log and run toward me, well, they didn’t stop once they got to me, the proceeded to tackle me and I’m pretty sure I got licked on the face. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Oh what I won’t do for the shot.

If you had a session with me in 2011, I would just like to say thank you for choosing me to capture a little piece of history for your family. With so many choices out there for photographers, I truly am greatful for all of my wonderful clients. You have helped make KDB Photography what it is today. I look forward to many great sessions in 2012.

I had the pleasure of shooting Erin and Eric’s engagement session mid last week. These two met only 6 months ago, but it’s easy to see exactly how much they both truly love and care for each other. I asked Eric how they met, and the excitment that came through in his story was just infectious. It really was a story of love at first sight. Eric is currently serving our country and was home on a two week leave. I’m so happy I was able to capture these images of them together before Eric heads back over seas. Erin it was wonderful to see you again, I wish you two many years of happiness! Enjoy the sneak peek!

And I couldn’t think of a happier way than to end the session with some fun “photobooth” type images. Enjoy!
