I am Kati Berwald owner and photographer of KDB Photography. I am a Mother of three wonderful children who have provided me with so many opportunities over the years, I will never be able to thank them enough. I am married to my High School Sweetheart, he has been there with me each step of the way. For that I am very greatful.
KDB Photography has been evolving and growing over the past three years. I have been very fortunate and have you, my wonderful clients to thank!! I have met so many fantastic people, and really love creating lasting memories from our sessions.

It’s always an honor to photograph a newborn baby. Even more so when this is the 3rd baby you have photographed for a family. Which is the case with 11 day old Ashlyn. I had the pleasure of meeting little Ashlyn last week and she is the newest (and cutest) baby on the block. At only 11 days old it was easy to see she was very well loved by all of those around her. Congratulations John and Sarah, I look forward to our next session.
Gabrielle and her Mom came up to the farm for her Senior Portraits a few weeks ago. I have been waiting waiting to blog these, however life has just been busy. But today was the day, and while I was going through these, I could totally hear Gabrielle’s laugh. This girl was just fun to photograph, she is just so full of life and laughter. It’s that time of a year again, when my calendar fills up with fall sessions, kids sports and all the other things life throws at me. But no matter how busy I am, I always make room for family and I know she does the same for me when I need her. Thank you so much for all you do for me KoLynn, you are a great sister and I’m lucky to have you in my life. Kendra you your kiddos are next! Love you lots!!
I bet I have looked at this image over 100 times since Saturday and everytime I look at it my heart beats a little faster and a smile comes across my face. This is what I love about my job. Creating a moment that only lasted for a few minutes, but capurting it for a lifetime. I hope one day years from now you will look at this picture and feel all the emotion you felt that day in this moment.
It doesn’t get much better than this. She doesn’t have David wrapped around one finger, she has him wrapped around all ten!

The Becker Family was back last week for another round of fun. And fun was definitely had by Caden and Will. I really do look forward to photographing these two, they are all boy and love to run and play, I always end the session with a big smile on face. It won’t be long until their little brother Robert will be joining in on their fun. I’m pretty certain they are going to train him in well. Thanks for a great time you guys, and enjoy the peek.
For those of you who follow my blog, you might recognize this little lover. Estelle turned one in July, can you believe it! This past year I have had the joy of watching Estelle grow from just a tiny little newborn into a beautiful sweet one year old, it was wonderful.
For her one year session we went to one of my favorite spots. Corey and Karla brought their high chair and we did the smash cake right in the field, it was great. Although, I think Estelle was a little confused at first, she only took a minute to dig into her cake. Thanks for the wonderful time. I look forward to sharing them all with you guys.

I really love summer sessions, and I really love summer sessions by the lake, espically with temperatures reaching 95 degrees!! So you can guess that I was very happy when Jenny wanted this years session down by the lake. It really does yield for wonderful memories and great portraits. It has been such a joy and an honor to watch both Grace and Jack grow up these last 3 years. Thanks and enjoy the peek.
