I am Kati Berwald owner and photographer of KDB Photography. I am a Mother of three wonderful children who have provided me with so many opportunities over the years, I will never be able to thank them enough. I am married to my High School Sweetheart, he has been there with me each step of the way. For that I am very greatful.

Gabrielle and her Mom came up to the farm for her Senior Portraits a few weeks ago. I have been waiting waiting to blog these, however life has just been busy. But today was the day, and while I was going through these, I could totally hear Gabrielle’s laugh. This girl was just fun to photograph, she is just so full of life and laughter. It’s that time of a year again, when my calendar fills up with fall sessions, kids sports and all the other things life throws at me. But no matter how busy I am, I always make room for family and I know she does the same for me when I need her. Thank you so much for all you do for me KoLynn, you are a great sister and I’m lucky to have you in my life. Kendra you your kiddos are next! Love you lots!!
I bet I have looked at this image over 100 times since Saturday and everytime I look at it my heart beats a little faster and a smile comes across my face. This is what I love about my job. Creating a moment that only lasted for a few minutes, but capurting it for a lifetime. I hope one day years from now you will look at this picture and feel all the emotion you felt that day in this moment.
It doesn’t get much better than this. She doesn’t have David wrapped around one finger, she has him wrapped around all ten!

A few short months ago, I met Ruby. She was only a few days old at her newborn session, and such a fiesty little newborn she was. Now she is a little over two months old, and growing quickly. I didn’t get the chance to blog her newborn session, so I have included a few of my favorites from that session at the end of this post. Thanks Matt and Jackie, enjoy every moment!
Ruby has the most beautiful eyes, we had to work for a smile, but if you have ever had a session with me, you know I’m determined, and willing to go to extream measures to get those smiles. So I had to start this blog post with the very very last shot from my session with Ruby. Good things do come to those who wait.

This was a very special session for me. Jill has been a great friend to me since we were wearing neon hypercolor shirts, and our hair was bigger than heads. We had a lot of great summers together at the Circle R Ranch, and made memories I will never ever forget. So when she asked me to take her families portraits I was very willing. The Becker Family was back last week for another round of fun. And fun was definitely had by Caden and Will. I really do look forward to photographing these two, they are all boy and love to run and play, I always end the session with a big smile on face. For those of you who follow my blog, you might recognize this little lover. Estelle turned one in July, can you believe it! This past year I have had the joy of watching Estelle grow from just a tiny little newborn into a beautiful sweet one year old, it was wonderful.
For her one year session we went to one of my favorite spots. Corey and Karla brought their high chair and we did the smash cake right in the field, it was great. Although, I think Estelle was a little confused at first, she only took a minute to dig into her cake. Thanks for the wonderful time. I look forward to sharing them all with you guys.
