I am Kati Berwald owner and photographer of KDB Photography. I am a Mother of three wonderful children who have provided me with so many opportunities over the years, I will never be able to thank them enough. I am married to my High School Sweetheart, he has been there with me each step of the way. For that I am very greatful.

Gabrielle and her Mom came up to the farm for her Senior Portraits a few weeks ago. I have been waiting waiting to blog these, however life has just been busy. But today was the day, and while I was going through these, I could totally hear Gabrielle’s laugh. This girl was just fun to photograph, she is just so full of life and laughter. It’s that time of a year again, when my calendar fills up with fall sessions, kids sports and all the other things life throws at me. But no matter how busy I am, I always make room for family and I know she does the same for me when I need her. Thank you so much for all you do for me KoLynn, you are a great sister and I’m lucky to have you in my life. Kendra you your kiddos are next! Love you lots!!
I bet I have looked at this image over 100 times since Saturday and everytime I look at it my heart beats a little faster and a smile comes across my face. This is what I love about my job. Creating a moment that only lasted for a few minutes, but capurting it for a lifetime. I hope one day years from now you will look at this picture and feel all the emotion you felt that day in this moment.
It doesn’t get much better than this. She doesn’t have David wrapped around one finger, she has him wrapped around all ten!

This was a very special session for me. Jill has been a great friend to me since we were wearing neon hypercolor shirts, and our hair was bigger than heads. We had a lot of great summers together at the Circle R Ranch, and made memories I will never ever forget. So when she asked me to take her families portraits I was very willing. For those of you who follow my blog, you might recognize this little lover. Estelle turned one in July, can you believe it! This past year I have had the joy of watching Estelle grow from just a tiny little newborn into a beautiful sweet one year old, it was wonderful.
For her one year session we went to one of my favorite spots. Corey and Karla brought their high chair and we did the smash cake right in the field, it was great. Although, I think Estelle was a little confused at first, she only took a minute to dig into her cake. Thanks for the wonderful time. I look forward to sharing them all with you guys.

Someone needs to tell these babies to slow down and not grow so quickly. It seems like only last week Nolan was at my studio for his newborn session, and now here he is sitting up, laughing, smiling and just being as cute as ever for his 6 Month session. His Mom told me that it was his crabby time, well if I was there for his crabby time, I would love to see his happy time. He was such a good baby. No I haven’t abandoned my blog, it has just been a super busy past few months. Between a 10 day family road trip out to Yellowstone, Baseball Games, Track Meets, and T-Ball we were running seven days a week and usually multiple events a day. But we made some wonderful memories, saw some amazing things, and made a bunch of new friends. I truly enjoyed every part of it. So now that my life is returning to a normal pace it’s good to be blogging my sessions again. And what a better way than with Brennin, a sweet 9 month old who’s smile will melt your heart. My favorite field hasn’t been producing as many flowers as it use to, but that didn’t matter, the night was still perfect.
Mom brought with this cute little cap, how cute is this!!

Introducing Owen James. He is the 2nd baby boy I have photographed for this family. His big brother Will’s newborn session was almost 2 years ago already. It’s amazing how much Owen is like his big brother, but he certainly has his own little personality. Owen was very content during his newborn session, he was a champ!! And he knew not to go potty on me, but waited until I gave him back to his Mommy, thanks Christa for taking it for the team
