Finally after a few rain delays, I was able to take this sweet little cowboys one year pictures. Brock like his big brother has the most beautiful blue eyes. I didn’t really notice how much these two looked alike until Brock put on the same cowboy hat that Blake wore for his 1 year pictures. I’m sure they are going to grow up to be best buds, and go on a lot of adventures together. Just as long as they don’t bring home any creepy crawling things, I think they will be okay.

Thanks for the fun afternoon, I really enjoyed seeing you guys again!!

Matai and his Mom and Dad came up the other night for his One Year pictures. He was just the sweetest little one year old boy and was a great little model. I think he has his parents just where he likes them, and by the end of the session he had me wrapped around his finger too!! I had such a wonderful time with Brandi, Mike and Maylena on Saturday. Sweet little Maylena has grown up so much since my last session with her. I have a a display up at my studio of Maylena, and every time I walk into my studio her sweet little face greets me. It was a bit of a shock seeing her in person again, I knew she was 16 months old, however, I’m so used to seeing her as a 6 month old. She really is growing up so fast, and talking too!

Saturday was a bit of a weather rollercoaster, we did have to take a little break in the middle of our session because of rain, however, we were able to finish it off before she got too upset with me.

I had the joy of meeing Layla and her Mommy Misty on Saturday. Layla came into the world on May 4th, and is welcomed home by her Big Brother, Mom & Dad. Layla was such a joy to photograph, it took some work (more on Mom’s part than mine) to get her full and sleepy, but once we did she was out like a light.

I truly love newborn sessions, they always remind me just how fast our kids grow up. And for me to capture these itty bitty babes when they are only a few days old, is a feeling like I can’t explain. Newborn sessions are a lot of work, but the end results are always worth every single minute. It was a pleasure meeting you Misty, enjoy the sneak peek and I look forward to seeing you both again!

Will and his Mommy came up for Will’s one year session tonight. The last time Will was in the studio he was only six days old, and now here he is walking and even talking. Will wasn’t too sure about staying in one place for all too long, so between both his Mom and Myself we busted out our moves, our tricks and did all we could do to keep him somewhat in front of the camera. Thanks for coming up tonight, I really did have a great time w/ the two of you. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Will found my trike, and loved it. He knew just what to do. Now only if his little legs would’ve been a hair longer, he would’ve been golden.
