I really can not belive that sweet little Jack is turning one!! I first met Jack when he was only 11 days old. I really have enjoyed seeing Jack every three months. Every session I had with Jack I always ended with a smile! He really is one of the sweetest babies I’ve ever met, so laid back and fun. Here are a few of my favorites from his past sessions.

And here are some from Jack’s one year session! We also did a smash cake session, I’ll be posting those in a seperate blog post. Jack’s Big Sister Grace came with as well, she really makes me laugh. Grace has also changed so much in the last year. For only be 2 years old, she really knows what she wants, but when you here her laugh, it just melts your heart!

This morning I started early and met Trevor and Claire and their two beautiful children. Their daughter Heidi is an absolute doll. Her Mom pulled some tricks and we managed to capture Heidi’s attention. And little Nolan was such a sweet baby boy. He is only 6 months old and almost sits all by himself. What a big boy!

Enjoy the preview, lots more to come!

Could these two little sweeties be any cuter. Jacob was such a good boy, and instead of asking me “why” he would ask me “where”. I thought it was very cute. And his little sister Caydence, boy is she a beautiful little girl. She was very mild tempered and even though she is only 6 months old, she had no anxiety when she wasn’t being held by Mom. Thanks for coming over and braving the heat today. Enjoy the peek!

Meet Tayla, she is one busy little girl. Staying in spot for very long is not something she is good at, but then what one year old is right. That’s alright I was ready for the challenge. I took Tayla down to one of my favorite spots by the Rum River. It was a beautiful sunny day and the weather was wonderful. Her Mom, Grandma & I all did our best to get some smiles out of her. I think we did pretty good. After a fun time playing outside we came back and wrapped up the session with some indoor shots. I loved her little polk-a-dotted shirt.

I really had a great time with all of you today. Enjoy the sneak peek, lot’s more to come.

Can you believe this is the first time this handsome little guy has had his pictures taken. He was so much fun to photograph. That being said, we did have to work a little to get some smiles. And by “we” I mean his Dad had to really work HARD to get him to smile. I think we all tried, but Ben gets a gold star for going above and beyond to get those smiles.

I can honestly say I have never laughed as hard or as much as I have at this session. Sometimes I wish I could video pullbacks from sessions so people can really see the “behind the scenes” of a session. If we would’ve been videoing, I’m sure there could’ve been some clips that showed up on AFV. Ben was pretty funny, but not as funny as the reaction that Mom got when she found out she had a woodtick in her hair. Poor Blake got the short end of the deal and was left to fend for himself while his Mom ran out of the grass and onto the gravel.

All in all it was a fantastic session, and a lot of memories were made!! Enjoy the sneak peek, there are a lot more to come!

Saturday was such a wonderful day. The sun was out, the temperatures were fantastic, overall, it was the perfect day for outdoor pictures.

I was very happy to be able to photograph these three kiddos. Their Mom and I have been best friends since we were in 1st grade, even though our busy schedules and busy lives keep us from seeing each other very much, we are still able to pick up where we leave off.

Now for the fun stuff. We headed downtown Hutchinson and did a few urban shots. The beautiful historic downtown didn’t disappoint, providing natural colors and backdrops. After a few urban shots, we headed over to the Crow River. The rocks and natural landscape were perfect. The kids were really able to relax and be themselves.

As we were wrapping things up, I called Kaeden over to look at the huge carp. Well, it was a little wet from all the rain and he basically slid 10 feet in the mud, poor guy, but man did we laugh!

Thanks for the wonderful time on Saturday and we’ll see you soon!!

Spring is a wonderful time in Minnesota. The tulips are coming up, the grass is getting green there are kids outside playing and riding their bikes. After a long winter, it’s a breathe of fresh air

To finish up my busy day on Saturday I ended w/ these three little sweeties. It took a little bit for them to warm up to me, but it wasn’t long before we were able to capture some wonderful smiles. Kaitlyn is such a beautiful little girl, she really loved to wear the Petti, and Nick, he wasn’t too sure about anything other than his Mommy. It was nice outside so we took a short walk and grabbed a few shots outside. Baby Addison was so laid back, I think she could’ve spent the entire day in my bowl. Enjoy the sneak peek Ladies! Lots more to come!

These three little guys have made a few appearances on my blog. I’ve been photographing these guys since before there was 3. Their Mom and I have been friends since we were in Kindergarden it’s great to have friends that you have litteraly known “forever”. Thanks for the fun time yesterday Kim and Matt. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Brody wasn’t feeling the best yesterday, so he wasn’t too easy to give up the smiles. We had to work for it, but this is what we got. I LOVE it!

Aiden was all about the smiles for his 6 month pictures. He was a Very Happy boy! He has changed so much since I did his newborn pictures. But I guess babies do that.

My Niece and Nephew came over last night for a much over due session. Getting pictures out of these two isn’t always the easiest task, but I think we had success last night. We also enjoyed another impromptu session but that’s for another day :)
